Posted on August 26, 2010 · Leave a Comment
I think I’ve let my sweet tooth blog for me this week. Tuesday, I showed you a really cute commercial for Lake Street Creamery and here I am again on Thursday talking about ice cream.
SmarterTravel.com recently asked their editors and readers about their favorite ice cream in all of America. Shops, shacks, and trucks from all over made the list but can you guess what city had the best Mobile Ice Cream…of course, LA! Check out what they had to say about Coolhaus…
Ice cream trucks have come a long way since the heyday of the Sno Cone. Cross paths with Los Angeles-based ice cream truck Coolhaus and you’ll be rewarded with a generously portioned and customizable ice cream sandwich. Mix and match freshly baked cookies and handmade ice cream in an edible wrapper.
Ici in Berkely, California also made the list for the best organic ice cream.
Your Turn: Have you ever tried Coolhaus? Tell me about your experience…

Facials Straight From The Farm
Posted on August 11, 2010 · Leave a CommentThere is a new trend in the Spa industry, using locally grown fruit! Visitors come from all over to go to the Ojai Valley Inn in Southern California to get scrubed with Pixie Tangerines, a specially grown fruit in the area.
Other spas across the country are experimenting with locally grown fruits and herbs for skin treatments and massage therapies.
This is one great way that consumers can support their local farmers and get a great experience at the same time.
Your Turn: Is this a type of spa treatment you would opt to get? Have you tried it before? Tell us about your experience…
